Macy Gray has been con­firmed as the sup­port act for the 8 Simply Red UK dates in December.

Simply Red recor­ded their last ever UK TV show last night. Simply Red — For The Last Time is due to be shown on ITV1 on Sat­urday 25th Septem­ber at 9pm (straight after X Factor) — Christine Bleakley is the presenter and between live per­form­ances they will show film of Mick in Manchester talk­ing about his life and his career.

The ITV show “Simply Red — For The Last Time” which is being recor­ded in Lon­don next Tues­day have opened up applic­a­tions now for tick­ets. If you would like to apply go here, click on cur­rent shows, scroll down to the cor­rect show and apply.

Today is the pub­lic­a­tion date of the new Simply Red book “Simply Red — The Offi­cial Story” by Brian Southall — the revised edi­tion of “If You Don’t Know Me By Now” — now updated and rewrit­ten in a han­dier size with new pho­to­graphs includ­ing one of Micks wed­ding and some of his 50th birth­day party.
