This concert was my birthday treat and what a treat it was.I have to confess to getting a bit impatient listening to the support artists but a lot of that had to do with how warm it was in the hall, there did'nt appear to be any air conditioning As always Mick gave a fantastic performance and the musicians are second to none. I am looking forward to the Simply Red gig next year but I would recommend anyone who loves Simply Red to go see the tribute to Bobby concert The songs and music are brilliant

This gig was fantastic. Mick is a very good singer. I really do like his voice. He has got a great style and a good appearance. He and his band were able to get a good party started in Newcastle. I just love his music and I am greatful Mick has introduced me to the music Bobby has made, as it is wonderful.

As I had to say goodbye to the sweetest person because she had to go back to Denmark where we are both from and I had to stay in Mid-Europe where my life is, I instantly got tickets for the concert in Newcastle as a goodbye present thinking, none of us has been there before + a great concert is ahead, I have always listened to his music, so many memories connected to it, and I can spend some time with a great friend again, despite my sick fear of flying, and of course I had to fly via Amsterdam...but it was worth it, although I am still missing the hearing on my right ear and my suitcase is lost!!!!!!!(ok my present was totally selfish as I love the music and Mick Hucknall's voice and sexy apperance but at least she FINALLY bought the cd now:-)) the concert was absolutely great, what a stage presence, what a voice, we were in the 4th row and seeing such a great man with that giant voice live was nothing more then amazing, even if my friend thought that Mick Hucknall was stealing her view of the bas player, whom she found "top-dollar" as we say!!I'm just glad to add another great memory to my life....and to be back home again, alive and deaf:-)

finally fulfilled an ambition and saw mick live and got to say what an absolute pleasure, a top class band for a top class singer, the video really set the scene and told the story of what this tour was all about, and mick delivered big style his voice is truly something else, we loved the way he interacted with the crowd and would not have missed this gig for anything. anyone who remotely likes mick should go and see this performance they will not be dissapointed, thanks to all for a great night.

Mick never gives us less than 200%, backed by a brilliant band.
First time in my life I've braved the front row, worth every penny once again.
Lost count of the concerts we have attended but this one topped the lot, nice to hear the words and story
in the songs, performed as only Mick can.
Cheers
