I still can not believe that Oxford was honored with a visit from this man! Had a T shirt made with Hucknall on the back and wore it with pride. As always Mick and the band were awesome! After seeing Simply Red many times in the big arenas what a difference it made to be so close. Fantastic show - would go again if I could! LOVE YOU Mick!!!! Now for the next tour!

Still buzzing after another fantastic show - this time in Oxford on Saturday! Credit must go to the set designers and lighting crew whose creation added another dimension to the small stage. Lovely colours! The performance, as ever, was absolutely perfect and it was great to see everyone looking relaxed and enjoying themselves as they performed. The smaller venues always help to make one feel the music more. I always wonder what it must look like from the stage side. From my seat there did not seem to be much involvement from the audience (apart from me!) but maybe that was because they were not so familiar with the songs (unlike me - I am now word and timing perfect!). At least they got involved by the end of the show which was all over too soon. I found the additional footage shown on the introductory film fascinating - perhaps the unenlightened will now understand the appeal of these wonderful songs - such passion and feeling!

what a brilliant concert, me and my daughter had a great time, we was singing ,dancing and clapping till our hands hurt in our seats, wanted to get up and dance like you do at simply red concerts but nobody else did untill the end. mick and the band was fantastic, loved all the songs ,excellent. went back stage afterwards and met the band, what a great bunch of guys they had time to talk to you and have photos taken. cannot wait until next year for the simply red tour. love to you all, christina and antonia. xxxxxxxx

this was my first show on the Tribute to Bobby Tour and it made a huge first impression on me! I always knew that Mick and the band are brilliant live and the gig confirmed it million times! :) Next morning I rushed straight to the nearest music store in Oxford, bought a Bobby Bland album and have been listening to it ever since I came back to Warsaw - I think I don't need to say anything more, it sums it all! :) Thank you for this experience!

Fantastic - my husband and I came all the way from Australia to see Mick and were a little bit apprehensive about the smallness of the theatre and also we had not got to hear the complete album (as it was not due out in Australia until after we got back) - well we need not have worried - Mick was amazing from the moment he came on stage - why did we worry - how could we doubt him. We only wish we were there later the year to see him once again with Simply Red. Congratulations on an amazing show we loved every minute of it.
